The transition between Linux and MacOS is very easy. I never loved Windows and disliked W10, so as you may recall I used Linux. (Anyway, I figured 36 years between Macs was long enough. No regrets, it's an interesting machine, and quite capable for its modest price I was an early adopter, and bought direct from Apple. But I haven't been keeping up with the latest developments.ģ. I think the Sony is reporting its native resolution as FHD and the M1 Mini insists on believing it.Ģ. I had some thoughts of using it as a HTPC, but so far it looks like it can't output 3840x2160 andscale its output to my Sony TV it switches output to 1080p when I try. I don't love some aspects of the UI, but it's quite functional and I'd have no problems using it if/when I need to.ġ. I bought a M1 Mac Mini for technical curiosity I had no plans for regular use.
